About Dr. Yuji

Aloha! My name is Dr. Yuji Kim. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the diagnostic assessment of autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., developmental delays, ADHD, intellectual disability, specific learning disorders) for children, adolescents, and adults.  I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and completed my predoctoral and post-doctoral training at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. In addition to diagnostic assessments,  I also provide a range of therapeutic/intervention services, including caregiver coaching for behavior management (e.g., RUBI, PCIT), early social communication skills coaching (i.e., Project Impact), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for mood and anxiety concerns, and trauma-focused therapy (e.g., TF-CBT).

Given the unique needs of every individual, I believe in a collaborative, family/client-centered approach to my clinical work. In addition to utilizing research-supported tools and strategies, I strive to approach my clinical work with compassion, respect for all identities and backgrounds, cultural humility, and empowerment for all individuals and families.
