IEP Consultation Services

Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are a roadmap to student success. Dr. Maya can consult with you to review your child’s IEP, with discussion related to your concerns/questions and specific recommendations, as well as to accompany you to IEP meetings for extra support and advocacy. The depth and length of the consultation is dependent on your needs and is billed at $250/hour.

 

Research and Program Evaluation Consultation Services

Dr. Maya is available to consult on research and program evaluation projects. She has considerable experience with community-partnered participatory research, conducting needs assessments, and program development and evaluation. She is currently contracted with UNICEF on a joint UNICEF/WHO project developing a parent-mediated intervention for autism. School and Agency Consultation Services

Dr. Maya offers in-person and remote trainings for personnel of all levels at schools and agencies.  Popular topics include: screening for autism spectrum disorder, behavior management, inclusive behavioral support in healthcare settings, using visual supports, and mental health concerns in people with ASD/IDD. For more information, please contact Dr. Maya.

Peer Consultation

Dr. Maya is available to consult with therapists and other service providers on cases involving neurodevelopmental disorders and challenging behavior. Please contact Dr. Maya for more information.
